Reporting to the Controller, You’ll Be Doing:

• Data entry: Enter data into the accounting system accurately.
• Record-keeping: Maintain financial records, including accounts receivable and payable.
• Reporting: Generate reports, such as billing statements, invoices, and work in progress analysis.
• Budgeting: Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitoring: Monitor accounts and ensure payments are up to date.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Communication: Communicate with all staff in all areas as well as clients.
• Problem-solving: Identify and resolve variances and discrepancies.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• At least 3+ years of recent full cycle accounting experience.
• Accounting Technician Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree w/ Accounting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks Enterprise: Contractor Edition, and related software in areas of inventory, time management, and estimation.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact with all staff and customers professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Payroll experience an asset.
